Giovanni Scagnoli awarded at the Venice Biennale

Saturday 13 September at 18 in the Council Chamber, the internationally renowned artist Giovanni Scagnoli from Sarnano will present his work "Barefoot", exhibited until 24 November in the Grenada Pavilion of the 58th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venice.

“Barefoot” is an invitation to open your eyes on the world and focus on its essential and fragile elements. In particular, it evokes the harmonic and diaphanous colours of the archipelago of the Antilles, the bright sun, the limpid and crystalline surface of the sea.

Giovanni Scagnoli’s artworks will be included in the Trienniale International Exhibition of Visual Arts in Rome, from 25th March to 22nd April 2017 at Il Vittoriano

A conference and an exhibition to celebrate Estetica Paradisiaca

On 18th March, the Chamber of Deputies press-room will host a dissertation on the Italian art movement defined as Estetica Paradisiaca. In addition, the Fondazione Venanzo Crocetti museum will host the first retrospective on its most representative artworks.

The art exhibition “Germinazioni” ties together the threads that characterise the cultural itinerary on modern art recently hosted by the Macerata civic museums, with the intention of detecting the flows through which culture spreads osmotically in the local territory
